Banks and financial institutions have been discussing ways to solve this dilemma just recently and one of the solutions posed is to allow non-citizens that ability to open a limited bank account. This would be a probationary account so to speak that would allow them to bank their money and to send it to their families. However, it would come with limitations and more than likely a time frame in which the account would stay open, giving the accounted a reasonable amount of time to complete the process of becoming a US citizen.



It is undeniable that the act of sending money to Mexico and back has become a major staple in our dwindling economy. And it is undeniable that international relations and trade, even if only between Mexico can be a prime source for raising the economy from its low ranks. Because of this fact, the market and financial institutions have been working non-stop to try and fit the needs for everyone involved. At the moment however, for non-citizens, the only option they have is through the postal service. This is both costly, time consuming, and simply not as secure as it could be. It would be much better all around if something were done to properly secure the transfer of funds for these immigrants.



The need to send money to Mexico is becoming a common factor in the world today. For citizens it is a simple easy process that costs them very little money. For non-citizens it is practically impossible to get money to Mexico in any other way aside from the postal service. Hopefully something turns around soon.
